The key findings are:
- More than two-fifths of library services have seen increased demand due to the cost of living crisis
- Over 80% of library leaders expect to see an increase in people using libraries to keep warm next winter
- Over a third of library services have introduced new initiatives to help people cope with rising costs and falling wages
